Job Description

As a Mental Health Support Worker at One&Only Healthcare Services, you will play a pivotal role in providing crucial support to individuals experiencing mental health issues. • Facilitate group activities and therapeutic interventions to promote social engagement and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ mental health status, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages open communication and trust.

Role Requirements:

• A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to support individuals in their mental health journey.
• Previous experience in a mental health support role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification in mental health support or a related field is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
• Any additional certifications or training in mental health support will be highly valued.
